We booked our Panmunjom tour on June 12 about one month ago.

We started this trip with 우두산.

The model of a North Korean house. Very different from old Taiwanese style.
The remodeled classroom. The tour guide was saying that North Korean people couldn't point their fingers at their leader, even just at a picture. It's ok for me to understand for that there was "a martial law era" in Taiwan before.
The text books. We were curious how they got these!
I didn't know the official name of Taiwan in South Korea is 다이완, instead of 대만, until I saw this.
We told people all the time that we were from 대만 and the teacher also taught us to use this name.
Didn't know if they had DVDs now or not.
The names of food different from North Korea and South Korea.

They also showed us a film about North Korea. It was very... unbelievable.
And there was a lady escaping from North Korea with us on the bus during the tour, sharing her story. She went to China and married a Chinese but her family was still in North Korea. She said she loathed North Korea so much. I don't know if the whole story of her life was true because she had to share this with so many people...
So close to North Korea.

The tour included a lunch--불고기.
If you don't eat beef, you can have 비빔밥 instead.
Everyone would get this before entering the military camp.
We had to get off the bus and took another one to JSA.
The left side is South Korea.
The left side is North Korea.
There were some American soldiers.
The North Korean soldier. We thought he was very curious about us and felt bored while standing there alone.
Bridge of no return. After the War, the soldiers could choose to go to which country but no return.
Nowadays, more and more people can visit Panmunjom in North Korea as I read on the Internet! That would be a totally different experience I guess.
